Session

The gym went pretty well on Friday. Then yesterday The Family Ghost had a recording session. We worked on "Doctorate" and got most of it recorded. A couple of the bass parts I was saving to record differently later and vocals still need to be done as well as some other loose ends. But it sounds good so far. Oh yeah, before we got together I went out and got a new Shure SM-57 mic because my old one disappeared somehow. Well, after the grocery store I went to Martin Music which is pretty close by and they don't sell microphones. Gee. So I looked in a couple nearby pawn shops, but no luck. I went to this place kinda downtown, but it wasn't what I thought it was, just a custom guitar shop. The only place I could think of that I knew would have it without any doubt was fucking Guitar Center so I had to drive way out to the ass-opposite end of town. Anyway, yeah, got one there at that stinkin' place. Then after it was all done Mary Beth and I went to Huey's with Jacques and Ryan.
