The Wind-Down

It already feels like the vacation's coming upon us. Well, at least the weekend is now. Anything of interest? They started fixing our bathroom yesterday. It's getting all torn apart and there's protective plastic all up and down the hallway. I went to the gym last night and my benching was much better. I got my delay pedal back from Moog yesterday. I need to open the box and play with it. Yesterday, I graded binders/portfolios in class for the first time. That was a fun whirlwind. Um, this semester's just about over with. I just have grading to wrap up and an exam to make for Tuesday. This will also mark the first time I'm giving exams "early." (Official exam days are Wednesday through Friday, but most teachers give 'em early, something I haven't done until now, many I'm sure have already given theirs). But that'll give me time to actually grade the things as grades are due Friday morning. Today was nice timing. A few kids came by to make up quizzes after school and I wrapped that up with extra time to get to my doctor's appointment at 3:30. Everything's fine, just a follow-up or whatever and I'm healthy and stuff. So that's nice. Oh yeah, and yesterday one of the nerdy kids that hangs out in my room during lunch saw my Space Invaders keychain and said "that's bad a-word!" And showed me an image of one on his phone's background. Then another said that I was cooler than she thought I was.
