So I woke up at 6 this morning and ate a bit and rushed out in yesterday's clothes to make it to the Target on Colonial. I got there at 6:30 and there were two people already waiting. About five minutes later a lady came out with the same forms the guy last night had and, once again, there was only one black unit. Thankfully I didn't have to wait around to find out. I rushed to the other closest Target and nobody was waiting around. I misread the sign and thought it was going to open at 9 (turns out it was opening at 8 too). I was by my lonesome this time around. Nobody ever came out this time with the forms or any warning. A few other people started showing up much closer to 8, though one guy came before that but he waited in his car. Anyway, I was there a little before 6:45. I got some reading done. It was a bit cold this time. We finally get in and there were two guys who came slightly before 8 who had pre-orders. Those motherfuckers bought ALL of the store's pre-order units. Something like eight, maybe ten. Anyway, there were three others after that. I got the first and there were three people behind me so one didn't get one. Scalping scum, anyway. I was happy to get mine and I got a couple games. Oh yeah, here they ONLY had black so go figure. I was starting to think a black shortage was being manufactured just to sell off the white ones. Anyway, the black one came with Nintendo Land. I went ahead and just secured the damn unit then got back in line (not that there was really much of a line) to get a couple games: New Super Mario Bros. U and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge. Hopefully there will be some awesome gaming ahead. The Nintendo Land looks like it might be even better than I was anticipating. We shall see. I came back home and just went back to sleep for a bit. Now I'm awake and the system is set up (the old Wii is now back in the bedroom) it's just taking a long time to download the system update. Then some hardcore nerd action will begin.
