Yesterday morning, Mary Beth and I stopped by the Cooper Young farmers' market on the way to grocery shopping. Ladybugg had posted all this stuff they had along with a message they were at the farmers' markets on facebook. So I got excited thinking I'd finally be able to try their maple bacon whoopie pies. I had tried them at the market before and they only had bread (which is great bread, don't get me wrong, but pastries...pastries!). This time I was hopeful because they listed all these pastries in the same facebook post. Anyway, we get there and there's only bread. It makes sense it would be difficult to keep pastries from melting at an outside market and all. Does make me a little sad. We did enjoy the kalamata olive bread though. The band came over for practice yesterday and we ran through our sets for the upcoming shows. We're sounding mostly pretty awesome and all so that's good and stuff. Afterwards Mary Beth and I went over to Paul and Shawna's for game night. Jason and Tara along with Jacques were over there. It was a pretty low-key game night. We tried one new game briefly and no one seemed to like and want to keep playing. Then we played more Cards against Humanity. Now it's Sunday and we recently got back from the gym. And I don't have to work tomorrow!
