My Dinner with Andre Dinner with Abed

I attempted to start on a new song yesterday, with a few tracks of marching snares. I got two tracks and it just sounded awful. My playing's too sloppy, I really need to start practicing drums again. I've lost something. Also, it doesn't sound like much of anything with the drums not playing the same part. I'd have to actually put forth some effort and write out a part and play the same thing (with only minor variations) on all the tracks for it to work right. I was kinda sad. We met Dustin and Courtney and Daphne for dinner at Huey's and then hung out at their new place a little later. In other news, my diploma arrived in the mail yesterday! Woo. Also, I got a package containing My Dinner with Andre. The other day Amazon had a sale on a select few Criterion titles. That was one of the few dvds and I saw this RIGHT AFTER we watched the Community episode that's built around it. I took that as a sign.
