Cat Neck Fever
Mar. 13th, 2012 04:44 pmMary Beth and I tried that Casablanca place last night and it was awesome. I never would have paid attention to it myself probably. Its name is generic and it's in a strip mall in a somewhat generic location, but it is superb. I figured out the problem with the drum machine yesterday: it had the wrong power adapter plugged in. It was a weird mistake to be happening, but it's fixed. I also got it and the Prophet midi synced to the Moog control pedal. So that's all pretty swell. We took Horace in for his dental work this morning. Dropped him off, went back to sleep, then woke up and had lunch at Melanie's (another great meal). Some more running around for errand stuff. Then we just picked him up. He apparently has some weird thing called feline neck lesion syndrome (the "neck" in question is a part of the cat's tooth right above the gumline). Nothing that's apparently horribly horrible or serious, but there's not much that can be done about it. They extracted two of his teeth. Hopefully that'll be that, but we'll see in time. It's weird 'cuz I had neckbones for lunch and while we were driving around, before we found out, I was joking about eating Horace's neck. He's back and fine now, though recovering from the anesthesia or whatever and stumbling around somewhat.
