I think my exam this morning went alright. Studied last night, woke up early for some reason and couldn't go back to sleep so I ended up getting a little more studyin' this morning too. Saw Ryan on my way in. He had just taken his. He said he didn't even get around to answering one of the case studies (there are four with three short answer questions each, in addition to the 24 or 22 multiple choice questions). I managed to finish everything. I brought my stopwatch with me to pay close attention to the time. That helped a lot because I didn't let myself go over the estimated time limit for each section. A couple places I stopped and went on to the next section and went back when finished. I almost never finish tests, so that was nice. The time was tight. Each section only varied by a couple minutes at the most from the estimated time. I think I did pretty alright. I guess I'll know for sure in 4 weeks. So close to being a certified teacher. It's almost weird.

Mary Beth and I went on a tour of a few stores later today. At Spin Street: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Night Porter, and That Obscure Object of Desire. At Best Buy: Party Down: Season One. We were also driving around on a quest to find a damned glasses case. Which leads me to something I forgot to mention in my last post: this week one of my students stole my glasses case. Not valuable or anything, I'm sure only to fuck with me. Mildly annoying. Also on Friday we had an earthquake drill which eerily coincided with what happened in Japan that I didn't know about at the time (and this was scheduled beforehand, not in response or anything). They played the sound of rumbling on the overhead for the drill. After playing shortly it went to a track of loud, bumpin' dance music.
