busy day yesterday...we went and tried out that hawaiian bakery downtown and it was awesome...we stopped in to check out that fancy grocery store in harbor town and while it wasn't the greatest thing we did walk away with some tasy soda (i got some boylan birch beer...mmm!) and the knowledge that they sell that bakery we were just at's stuff too...so if we find we want some of their stuff outside of their very narrow hours the other place is an option for a hawaiian baked goods fix...then we went to the library bookstore in search of cheap books for our centerpieces for the wedding...we got a ton and a pretty good selection to boot...i also picked up a few just for me: Humphry Clinker by Tobias Smollett, At Swim-Two-Birds by Flann O'Brien, A Mercy by Toni Morrison, and The Call of the Wild and White Fang by Jack London (yeah, going back to stuff i read in junior high or whatever...nice to have for 50 cents...) out picking up more random supplies for the centerpieces...(oh, and hey, if you're at the wedding and like free books given away at the end of events then this just may be the wedding for you!) The Family Ghost practiced last night...i filled in on the drums for Brad 'cuz he couldn't make it...it seems less and less likely he'll be able to make playing the wedding at all...even if Sherry hasn't had her baby yet (due date five days after the wedding date) i was surprised he'd agreed to do it at all, he insisted it wouldn't be a problem but it doesn't seem realistic...i'd been thinking of getting a backup drummer, but it's looking more likely that the backup should just be the replacement anyway...we'll see...we'll see if i can even find someone...if not, there's the drum machine as a last resort...
