we'll start off with the setlist
new song
Phantom Limb
Like Clockwork
Doctorate
we practiced before the show with all going well and all so...The Old West played first...next was STNNNG the touring band we got the show for...they were pretty incredible...a lot like Shellac and really loud...they asked us to take like a two minute video on this little digital recorder at any spot in the show, i was doing it and just happened to get where the bass player went on a rant because someone said something about how they were too loud (not in so many words though)...and one guitar player kept walking around and standing on tables and stuff and at one point he handed Brad his guitar but Brad wouldn't touch it and he looked at me so i was playing it on Brad's lap...that was fun...then we played last...we did pretty well...this one guy from the Hi-Tone fuckin' loves us...it's crazy...he kept going on how great we are and how he saw us at the Buccaneer once before and has our cd and listens to it and stuff...he said we can play there again whenever we want, now THAT'S something...felt bad 'cuz we didn't have enough people there to pay the touring band anything...i guess next time we do a show like that it should be at a smaller club where the club doesn't take any money...scraped up enough money to buy a cd: STNNNG: Fake Fake...and those guys stayed at our house that night...they left before we woke though 'cuz i made sure to get into work super late yesterday...

which i did, it was weird having a bunch of time to just hang around before work (like i do now) as i normally give myself barely enough time to get ready...so here i am with the novelty of posting in the morning before work...i don't go in quite as late as yesterday, but still relatively late...as you can see...anyway...
