goodbye

thanks to a random, completely unrelated post by daigor0 last night i was inspired to pick up with that story i'd been working on and hadn't touched in months...so i was up 'til godass late and i finished it! (at least as far as a first draft goes)...so i was happy about that...then today Amber accompanied me shopping and i finished up the last little bit i had left...all done! while doing all that junk i picked up a couple books for me as well: Sputnik Sweetheart by Haruki Murakami and The City and the Pillar by Gore Vidal...then we ate at the Petra place...neither of us had been and it was frickin' great...i had this korean dish that makes me take back some of the stuff i'd said about korean food in the past...now here comes the sad part...when i woke up today i noticed Lacey is starting to go in heat...not full-on yet, but there was a small amount of red on the sheets...so i hung on to the dogs as long as i could and then took 'em back to my parents'...as much as i hate taking 'em back early, with Mario in the house and having to walk the dogs around the neighborhood multiple times a day, i'm not in the best position to keep a dog that's in heat and i didn't wanna just take Lacey back 'cuz that would have broken her heart...so i miss 'em and am very sad to be all alone now...but i guess that's what's gotta be...but i guess that's all for now...

"Shutting an Open Wound"

that story i finished last night and worked on and (mostly) off over the past several months...the first thing i've finished in 14 months...i'm sure it's pretty rough so if you actually feel like reading it feel free to criticize it harshly...i guess that's it...

Amber came over today and we had a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich party...it was fun stuff...i also sent dude the cover art and mailed the cd for the record so it's like gonna get made and stuff...then yesterday i noticed that the newly released Miles Davis: The Cellar Door Sessions 1970 box set was on sale for a bunch off so after thinking about it i went back today and got it...Justin H. is back in town again...he stopped by for a few minutes but didn't stay long...now i'm just sitting around...
