May. 12th, 2005 08:40 pmagain at work today i was on the trs queue all day...but again it wasn't too much slower than ip...at first yes, but then as the day dragged on...blah blah...i got a certificate for 3 months of perfect attendance, then i saw someone else got a 6 month thing at the meeting and i was like i've had 6 months since that one time i was late since when i first started working there (alarm clock malfunction if you may remember...) so they looked into it and found it's been 8 months so i'll be getting a half day off too...which is lame, last time i had 6 months perfect attendance i got a whole day off...oh well, cheap bastards...also, of minor note, i did a relief for this really cute girl and noticed she was reading The Plague (now i haven't read this book myself, but it is in my big pile of books-to-read)...i mean, i'm sure she's probably lame anyway as she's a person and that would be the trent...i imagine a hipster, or something else as such...but Albert Camus is not a name oft seen on the covers of books in the memphis relay center...but what do you say "oh, i see you're reading a book that probably good..." oh well...such things as me talking to girls were never meant to be...and like i said, she's probably friends with all the lame emo hipster kids and listens to bad music while reading good books...oh well, i'm past the point of caring so this is a mere note of curiosity...or something...
