uh...a subject...

yesterday was a busy day...i woke up somewhat early and went out to get my car inspected...i picked a bad time to go, there was a huge line going out to the street and down the block...but i had nothing else to do and had brought a book with me...i was waiting about an hour and a quarter...then i dropped off the inspection paper and the dealership so i should have my tags next week...then when i got home i called my insurance company to switch to my new car...but since i'm financing it now i have to fucking have full coverage which pisses me off...bah...anyway...later on i ended up going to target...i got a [drumroll, please] Nintendo DS!!! the only downside to this purchase was that i thought it came with the new Metroid game, but it's just a demo...it didn't actually come with a game...so it's a good thing i bought two:

so that's pretty badass...i also got a big package in the mail!: The Complete Monty Python's Flying Circus...14 goddamned discs of nerdy goodness...i've decided i won't let all the losers who quote Monty Python incessantly get in the way of my enjoying it...anyway, i went over to Amanda/Jason's last night...Jacques came over...we watched a couple of movies but finished it off with this Dio dvd of a concert from 86...it was one of the most amazing things i've seen in my life...it had lazers, a 20 foot dragon, a statue with a sword, light sabers, rock and roll, and Dio!!! it was a truly magical experience...
