last night Jason and Amanda came over and we watched Riki-Oh...i went to bed aroud 2:45...Jacques called me to wake me up about 10 'til 6 (these are both in the am...) we (Jacques, Amber, Justin, and i) had plans to stand in line to wait for Elvis Costello tickets for the show at the Hi-Tone next friday...one night, two shows...so i had like 3 hours of sleep and met them and we went...there were like two groups of people already there, maybe 5 or 6 people in all so we had a good position right in front of the club...we got there about 6:30...tickets went on sale at noon...i hadn't really eaten anything since lunch yesterday...i got some garbage from the gas station next door...of couse they don't have real food so i just injested a bunch of sugar and pastry-substance...so we sat around chillin' for 5 and a half hours...i brought books to read but i was too tired to read and we most just sat around with some pleasant, inane, random talkings...it wasn't too bad, mostly just the lack of sleep...anyway, the hour finally arrived we're all excited gonna get a ticket for each show (note: tickets were not being sold online, only at the club...so this whole ordeal was absolutely necessary...they also allowed a purchase of 2 tickets per person...fine...or is it!?) then they tell us each person can only get tickets for one of the shows...so that was a bit annoying, i mean, at least we get to go at all...but still...it's at least marginally gay, probably a bit moreso even...then my morning diet caused me to have massive diarrhea...at least it waited 'til we were done...i finally managed to take a bit of a nap a little while ago...i got a little over an hour...then my neighbors started being loud so that ended...well, at least i'm going to see Elvis Costello next week...rah rah rah...ugh...
