fuck the vehicle...
Jun. 27th, 2004 03:32 pmi got up quite early this morning and took my car in to be serviced...my mom picked me up and i did laundry at my parents'...my copy of Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the GameCube had shown up in the mail over there for some reason...i pre-ordered it from the same place at the same time i pre-ordered the recent Zelda game, and that came to my apartment so it's a little odd that this one came to my parents' house...oh well, i got it now and can't wait to play all 10 goddamned Mega Man games it contains...fuckin' sweet...what's NOT fuckin' sweet is how much my fucking car cost to get the repairs...i took it in for the a/c as well as the brakes which had recently begun to squeel horrendously...the a/c has a leak in the compressor and it seemed like it'd be way too much to even bother with...but they put more freon in it, i guess we'll see how long it actually stays in my car...it did last the whole drive back home at least...so i had a/c in my car for the first time in a year...woo...then my brakes were in bad shape and the rotars had to be replaced...my tires had to be replaced too...as well as my serpentine belt...hopefully i wasn't completely screwed in the asshole, but knowing my car i can assume i wasn't...(and that doesn't even touch the fact that it sounds like it's running on 2 cylinders...so i'll just continue to politely ignore that until the engine falls out in pieces...) but anyway, that was gay and expensive but at least applying the brakes no longer adds to the shrill wall of noise that comes from my vehicle and i temporarily, at least, have air conditioning...my mom also gave me a little car fan so i can at least have that whenever it inevitably drains itself again...and back on to another plus: i noticed that my Galaxie 500 dvds also came with a little promo poster that i didn't notice at first...badical...
