things about strings

the only thing i really have to mention is something i should have said in my last post but forgot...during the Yo La Tengo show of the other night Ira did a cool thing at the end of "We're an American Band" (theirs) where he detunes the two low strings (you can even where he does that on the album version) but then he was holding the guitar by just the two detuned strings and swinging it around and stuff then he was just kind of holding it and set it down...i thought that was particularly cool...but as of thing that have actually happened in my life since i last posted, none to speak of...
