week in review

hopefully i can recall all the stuff of at least nominal interest from this past week...tuesday i went back by the mall and picked up a couple Game Boy Color games:

i also completed my "buy 10 drinks, get 1 free" bubble tea card...and got to draw my name on it with marker so it'll get to go up on the wall with all the others...awesome...

wednesday my new computer showed up...Justin went with me out here to my parents' house to pick it up...the past few nights he's helped me to put it all together...now it's all together, i just need to install an operating system...hopefully we'll get like cable this week so i can be online all the time and update in this here journal all the time and all of you readers will once again be happy!!!

thursday i went by Target to pick up a keyboard and a new belt 'cuz the one i had broke...i also picked up the 28 Days Later dvd...

this weekend Amanda was having another 40% off employee discount at Brentanos (the shitty mall bookstore she works at...) as i've said before, their selection is poor but i did make use of this and picked up a few things:
Watership Down by Richard Adams
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
1984 by George Orwell
Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison
The Trial by Franz Kafka (i do already have a copy of this, but it's a cheap one i picked up at a thrift store long ago...so i thought, as it's probably my favorite book ever, i should have a decent copy...as well as one that matches my other Kafka books...)

last night Jacques and Amber came over...we sat around playing NES...sometimes with Brad participating, sometimes with Brad away in his room...Amanda came over after she got off work as well...uh...we went to Huey's...sat around some more...yeah, good night...

so next week's going to rule...i work tomorrow, but then i have another two days off with my floating holidays...and the Rocket from the Tombs show will be happening in the midst of that...rock and fuckin' roll...
