uh...a bit of some stuff...

there's a couple days to catch up on...normally that wouldn't be a big deal...but there are a few events worth noting...

the night before last i went to Sekisui: Pacific Rim with my family as it was my dad's birthday...i didn't do anything the rest of the night...

i worked yesteday, of course...i sort-of almost got in trouble...and it was all Lisa's fault!!! she had some chips on the floor (the rule is hard candy's the only food allowed) and she offered me some...it was almost lunch and i was hungry and not thinking about it so i had some and a supervisor came up to me and told me we're not supposed to eat on the floor, etc...so i said "uh okay"...later in the class my instructor said something about the incident to everyone (but didn't single me out) she also said something about the person acting like they weren't told anything about it and then continued to eat...neither of which happened so i don't know what that's about...i get the impression, though, that a lot of the supervisors are pretty stupid and got the job 'cuz they go to the same church as the person who runs the center...fuck religion, aye!

after work Brad and i went and looked at this house...he talked to the owner/landlord or whatever and was told he could drive by and look in the windows, etc...so we went by and were checking out the back yard...i went up to the door and noticed it was unlocked...so we got a free tour of the inside too...it's pretty neat...rent's cheap...it's labeled as a 3-5 bedroom...it's on Beard Place (aka Bedhead Blvd) we're kind of excited about it...it's not as cool as the old place on Main, but it seems pretty cool so far...the most important thing: there's a tree in the backyard that looks like two dudes buttfucking!!! and i am not at all joking! it's the most amazing thing ever...oh yea...it also has 3 bathrooms...that's nice...we went back to it a little later with Keith and Amanda tagged along too...

also, Josh had talked to the landlord of the old place and he said we could get back in there last night to get our stuff out...we have a couple days before they gut the building or tear it down or something...so we (Brad, Keith, Amanda, and i) went over there last night...it's in pretty bad fucking shape...the ceiling came down all in Keith's room...the floor looked like a cave or something...almost everything that was left in there is ruined...there are a few things...i was able to get all of my stuff out...Brad's drums are okay...that's nice...it smells pretty bad...but not as bad as the day we moved out...that was a sewery smell...the smell now is more of a mildewy smell...

blah...after that was karaoke at Neil's...i didn't stay too long but i sang "Candle in the Wind" and "I Left My Heart in San Francisco"...

for today's 2 hour lunch break i uh, DID lunch with Amber...we went to Jasmine...it was good...after that i swung by Wal-Mart and picked up the Futurama: Volume 2 dvd set...woohoo! uh, i doublejacked with Chris...uh...nothing else to say...that i can think of...yea...rock on...

oh shit! i remembered something else funny...while doublejacking with Chris, this guy (who is obviously gay, this is insignificant now, but uh, becomes important later) came up and introduced himself to me...you know "hi my name is blah blah"/shook hands...no big deal...but a few minutes later Megan came up and asked her ('cuz she walked by and said "hi Robert" as he was talking to me) if i was gay...hah...it's kind of amusing...too bad that sort of thing never happens with chicks...(uh...not them asking if i'm gay, that happens all the time, the them wanting to do me part...)

shit...and another addendum: we had bid for our shifts earlier in the week and today (well, yesterday, but i didn't get mine 'cuz i had walked out the door the instant or so our trainer got 'em) we got our schedules for when we start working...mine was actually my #1 pick...10:30am-7pm...woo...hoo...and shit...
