cars'n'shit

of course, i get to bed at a decent hour last night only to wake up 3 hours later and not be able to get back to sleep (i did put the time to some quality use, starting up a database for my cds)...so my first day of work was super-fun...i guess i managed not too bad...i mean, it's not like we're actually doing work yet...we got a 1.5 hour lunch break durring which i made a trip to Disc-Go-Round...i hadn't been there in forever...it's a real dump now...i mean shit's all over the place...just stacks upon stacks of crappy cds and dvds...it's a horriblly disorganized mess...i did find Miles Davis' Live-Evil so i got that...but then a few minutes later i realized it was missing the liner notes and i paid far too much to let that sort of shit fly...i mean, that's pretty severe anyway...so i took it back...i was so excited for that brief moment, oh well...i saw Adam up there as i was leaving...we got off really early...2:30...so i had some time to go out and get my car towed...i took it to some place Brad mentioned...by the time i got downtown and the tow truck got there and we got to the shop, it was closed...but it's over there and not still sitting in front of the High Point Pinch where it wouldn't last much longer before getting towed (and certainly not for free with AAA)...we should get out somewhat early tomorrow, i guess i can go up there and talk to 'em about it after work...while waiting for the truck, i tried to fix my trunk...unfortunately my suspicion about how to fix it did not work out as planned...oh well...it's not like the car's driving right now anyway...my Scissor Girls cds (We People Space with Phantoms and Here Is the "Is-Not") came in the mail today...this be rockin' my ballz, yo...i don't have much else to say...the way i'm feeling right now i'd better pass right the fuck out tonight...and, uh, stay passed out...
