best cd cases ever!!!

today was pretty damned cool...uh, last night/today i had noticed two things we forgot to put on the inside of the cd cover so i went back and edited it...last night i had printed it out and had it aligned so the front/back would be even when we took 'em to Kinkos to get the double-sided printing done...so today, i went to meet Keith to get some stuff taken care of...on the way i swung by Turtle's to pick up the album everybody's been waiting for, Radiohead: Hail to the Thief...as you may have already noticed...i brought over the box of 100 cases too...yea, so we went to Kinkos and got the liner stuff printed up...it looks really nice...later, as i was cutting them, i noticed they copied the front side slightly crooked so it doesn't line up exactly with the back, but it's a small difference and isn't too bad...and we got it on card stock paper so it's not all cheap and flimsy...then back at Keith's we, along with Brad, began cutting out the cover/back cover and putting 'em into cases...using scissors, so it's a pretty slow process...but i think it's been coming off well...

at around 5, i went and hung out with David...Justin was there...we ate at Fino's then kind of watched this movie: The Swordsman with an Umbrella or something...though we weren't fully paying attention...the best (possibly) part about it is the bad, cockney vocal overdubs...David had to go to class so i went and grabbed Jacques and Amber and we grabbed Keith and went out to the Wal-Mart in West Memphis to get the cd label sticker-paper...also, while i was there i picked up the Apocalypse Now: Redux dvd for a nice price...back at Jacques' we worked out a design for it and printed 'em up...Amber helped us cut out some more of the covers which was cool...as i'm a big dork, i actually found it to be fun! up until the point my thumb got sore from all the scissor work...it all looks really nice...and i don't know if i can even come close to expressing the joy i get from seeing a big stack of my own band's cd cases (even if the actual cds aren't burned yet)..."The Family Ghost" running down the stack in a straight line...over and over...Jacques wants to take a picture of all the cd cases together when they're finished...i'll be damned if don't agree with this sentiment!!! i think Keith's gonna burn the cds tomorrow...i can't wait to stick the labels on them!!! the labels look nice too...they kind of match the theme of the cover...well, i think that's it...i'm all jumpin' up and down excited right now, so maybe i'll go jump up and down a little...
