it started off by my waking up early to pick Paul up from work to take him downtown! he gave me the early part of my christmas present, it's this poster he got from his work (one is hung up somewhere in his office place) w/ some guy who's sitting in this chair dressed all business casual w/ a huge grin on his face holding the advertised piece of technology, "Your Office, Now In Your Pants" the add claims...and the bottom advertises some Pocket PC thing...but yea, one of the funniest things ever...after he did hizz bizznizz, we went and ate at Amber Palace, the indian restaurant that's downtown and all...after that we went by Tower 'cuz it's nearby...i ended up being unable to resist the overpriced:
Josef K: The Only Fun in Town / Sorry for Laughing
Josef K: Young and Stupid
then we went to Legba...some of the stuff i had ordered had just made it in the store moments before we did...Greg opened the box to reveal:
The Fall: Hex Enduction Hour +
Theoretical Girls: s/t
some time was killed and we were on our way to Jacques and Amber's place...on the fucking way i got pulled over and got a ticket for my tags being expired...fucking fuck...i completely forgot about that shit...i guess it'd better go pay the assholes and get the new friggin' sticker...Justin was there and Shawna showed up shortly thereafter...we ended up watching the second season of Mr. Show...quality gear...now i'm home, and found out that a certain package arrived...i thought it was something else but it's my drum machine...already fucking here! i was in utter shock when i opened the package...i mean i won the other thing just the other night...i did paypal it so they got the money almost instantly...and i guess they did some fast shipment thing...maybe overnight or something...i dunno...it still freaks me out...the well-oiled machine of this modern world...

What obscure band are you?
i discovered this quiz from a result giving Modest Mouse, who are not obscure at all...while i think i may have seen the name in passing, i definately have never heard this band so i'll cut and paste this description: Pianosaurus is a crazily loveable band from the 80s. They recorded one full length album using only toy instruments. They result might suprise you. Juvenile but actual good music ^-^. Maybe not something you could sit down and listen to, but good 'conversation music', you could say :D woo-diddy-hoo...
