24 Hour Boring People

yesterday i saw THE best bumper sticker EVER! it had a drawing of a dog's rear end sticking up and said (verbatum): I 'dig' my JACK RUSSELL...but yea...today i managed to awaken after like 6 hrs of sleep to meet Jacques and Amber at the Highland Quartet for 24 Hour Party People watching...i wasn't really expecting to like it too much after the reports about i'd heard, but i must say it was a really really good movie...i mean, you can't really watch it w/ any expectations of which bands you want it to talk about or whatever...it's not a documentary...it's just a really well done movie...even if it does talk about Madchester more than lesser-known early Factory bands i'd like to hear about...but having any preconceived notions of what it SHOULD be about is kind've ridiculous in most cases anyway...after that we went to go eat at the Sub Shop but the bastards are closed on sundays now...however, by mad comsmic forces aligning i noticed Justin pulling into the very parking lot as we were leaving (going the opposite direction we normally would have, avoiding the train...) of course, he was there for the Highland Z Mart's cloves...we got him to accompany us to our next dining location: Dragon China...shortly after we ate i had to go to work...it was surprsingly pretty dern busy tonight...though i made a mere $107 'cuz the bastards weren't tipping too well...not that that's a horrible sum...also, i delivered some food to Meg, who says she'll finally be up at Reedmiester's this thursday...the gospel spreads or something...i believe this is all i have to say...rock on, ya'll...oh yea...and i won a copy of Stevie Wonder's Journey through the Secret Life of Plants on ebay...it's all out of print and stuff...and hopefully it should rule and whatnot...yea...oh yea, and ANOTHER thing...while working tonight i listened to The Potomac Accord's cd and i must say it gives me a nice little boner...i can't wait for the show friday...it feels like catching up w/ old friends...is that pathetic?
