rock and roll part 3

the other night on ebay, i won the Faust box set...woohoo!!! i talked to my teacher after class tonight and apparently everyone in the class got the non-attendence thing...the professor's new so i guess he did something wrong...but there's nothing to worry about now...in regards to that...The Family Ghost practiced tonight...(even though Brad forgot and almost went to a stinkin' dinner party for chrissakes...) it wasn't too productive, but a nice start...again...hopefully we'll be more directed when we get a nice solid goal down...the rest of ya'll'd better do your homework! (i'm making everyone write down a set list for the next show we'd play...that we indecisiveness may be avoided and we'll have something concrete to work out and actual set w/...then w/ an actual set we'll have something concrete work on...yea...that's my plan anyway...) and on the way there i stopepd by Walgreens and got another power strip for my pedals so there's enough room and stuff...i feel accomplished about that...after practice Paul and i got Shawna and we went to Reedmiester's for krokiokie...it was pretty crowded, i guess because of the drawing they were having...first i sang "Dare to Be Stupid" then Paul and i did "Rhinestone Cowboy"...and i finally ended w/ "Where the Boys Are"...Wayne (guy i talked about last week...homophone guy...), while finding Paul and me to be "twisted," seemed to have no such notions w/ the black transvestites...or the butch lesbian singing a song to a girl...i guess it's just the white manlove he fears...i had planned on giving Shawna the mix tape but i forgot it in the hurried mess of leaving for my last class...but i need to make the j-card anyway...i fear that the quality's pretty bad though...as my real stereo's broked, i did it on my cheap little boombox...i think it may have given it a bunch of tape noise...it either came from the recording process, or the boombox just plays all tapes like that...as i haven't listened to the tape on another device and i've not listened to another tape on the boombox...unfortunatley, it seems most likely that the former is the problem...it definately does something else annoying...it has that little click between songs from where it started/stopped recording...agh! even using the pause button...oh well...the quality of content far exceeds the quality of the media...even w/ these imperfections, my mix tape making skills are fortified w/ unparalleled genius...yea...

Jacques' post reminded me of something i can't believe i forgot to mention in my post...like two spaces down from us there was this horrible band practicing...like cock, blues, pseudo-math rock (prog is prob'ly more accurate), jam band...then a little while after we started competing w/ our own brand of ballz to the wallz rock'n'roll, they stopped playing to partake in some smooooooooooooooookin' out...it fucking reeked...it was hardly bearable (like, when that guy was raped by the bear...) even from two spaces away...but yea...that's all...duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudez...
