back in the rock saddle again...
Sep. 1st, 2002 01:40 ammade it to the book store this morning (wait, is it still morning after 2pm?) and got some of my books...a.i. and networking...can't quite afford to get my security book yet...but i don't need it as badly as the others right now...(and of course i'm not even bothering w/ foundations of math...) following that was the first Family Ghost practice in a while...it was pretty rad...i introduced the new song ("Out of the Band") and we worked on it and it fell together w/ the rest of the dudes immediately...which is always fucking wonderful...and it actually came to terms w/ my "goals" for it...slow and REALLY depressing (at least as i see it...) we got it on tape too...of course it's far from perfected as it's only been run through twice ever now...but it's well on its way to being a great song...then Paul, Brad, and i went to Huey's...i went over to Jacques' after that and we went out to Borders...i was very good in my whole not-going-to-buy-anything mode as i'm broke...but this failed when we went to Best Buy afterward where i spent nearly $50...doh! there was the Criterion release of Fellini's 8½ dvd...it has two discs and it's so nicely put together and everything...and it's one of the best movies ever so i succumbed to the temptation...i also bought The Cure's "Love Song" single...but that was relatively inexpensive...Jacques and Amber pansied out after that as i went over to Shade's where he, Tish, Adam, and Leah were...Kerry also showed up shortly thereafter...a game of Aggravation was played...then we started to play Phase 10, but i was the one who pansied out this time and went home...yea...
