krokiokie happened as usual...lessee...i first did "And She Was" (Talking Heads)...not too long after that Little Mike was doing some song and Donna put the wrong song on and walked off and he refused to sing whatever song it was playing...so at the encouragement of my fellow tablemates, i went up there and took the helm...it was some r&b song i'd never heard before...it was pretty rad...Adam and i did "Rock Steady" (a Bonnie Rait/Bryan Adams duet) together...it was magical...and finally i did "Wanted Dead or Alive"...i broke out the rock'n'roll mic stand poses for that one...i hope it sucks next week so i don't miss anything...then again, w/ me not there it has to! ...uh, yea...hrm...i know there's something else i wanted to mention about Neil's...but i just can't remember...others who attended, feel free to help me out w/ this one...we went to IHOP afterwards...as we were leaving, Keith talked into the intercom mic thingie...there was some bum sitting on the bench outside and he said "guy sitting on the bench party of one your table is now ready"...and as we left the guy tried to say something to us about it but we kept on walking...it was super-funny at the time though...also, Kerry has volunteered to burn a bunch of my cds for me so i'll not have to bring anything for my trip...thank you! you're the best person ever!

something from friday that i forgot to mention...after David and i went to the grocery store we stopped by McAllister's to eat...the sandwhich i got was called the Big & Nasty...(yes, i did get it just 'cuz it's named that...) and while we were eating, TWICE someone asked me what kind of sandwhich it was..."that looks good, what kind of sandwhich is that?" (i'll also add that these were two different someones...not the same someone asking me twice...) so i got to say "Big & Nasty" to two different strangers w/in minutes! it was pretty cool...

ooh...i just remembered one thing...there was this guy there that looked just like Kid Rock...and he sang a Kid Rock song...possibly more memories to come...(here's one) several ppl asked me why i was all "dressed up"...'cuz i was wearing a tie...which i found weird...i guess i haven't done that in a while 'cuz it's been all summer and hot and stuff, but ummm...yea...otherwise, i do that sometimes...ties are cool...
