the lampshade gang

the "pool party" (i wish i had another term for it...i don't know if it counts as a party when your goal is to have a small number of ppl over...maybe i'll just call it a "box social"...) was pretty rockin'...a bit of unpleasantness/drama did break out durring part of it...but i think it rocked my socks off overall...David surprised me by showing up really early, while The Simpsons was still on...but that was cool too...and i was super-glad that he made it as i don't see him too much nowadays...even though he did leave early...he accompanied me to the grocery store where i bought a bunch of beer for everyone (even though i don't drink myself...well, i did have a couple of Citronas that Amber brought that night...) Jacques and Amber were there when we got back from the store...Justin arrived shortly thereafter...and we were also joined by Kerry, Paul, Brad, Mary, and later (when he got off work) Keith...a bunch of swimming MANtics ensued...Justin even got nekkid...how nastay! though he didn't actually expose himself...he just stayed hidden underwater...it would've been pretty sweet though...at one point we decided to be super-cool and order some pizza (RADICAL!) when it arrived i answered the door all wrapped in a towel...i wonder if the delivery dude thought i was naked underneath or something...Kerry was in the background so maybe it didn't completely look like i was trying to reenact some gay porn (even though i was...) i gave him a REAL BIG TIP though...yeow! i also got to emberass myself by allowing everyone to see the filth of my living conditions...but then again, they did get to see how cool my dogs are...yea...everyone left at some point except for Keith and Paul who crashed over here...(more gay porn scenes were enacted as well...not to mention filmed!) then plan was to go out to the space before we (Brad, Keith, and i) were due in to work at 5...Keith picked Brad up and we were going to go but we went by Memphis Pizza Cafe first...MPC = big mistake...it took us over a fucking hour to get our food...though there was compensation in the fact that we did get to play "Sister Ray" in its entirety on the jukebox...

i went to work...when i got off i went over to Paul's and then we met up w/ the gang at Brad's...it was a rather large gang last night...the plan was to go boweling...we went but while waiting for a lane to open, i got called back in to work so i had to leave...at least it was before i paid for a game...when i got off i met back up w/ everyone at the Mancake Shop...then we went back to Brad's and some Aggravation was played...then home...yea...

as Justin H. is going off to med school in a few hours, i was going to help him move this morning...but i ended up not awakening as i should have...work was pretty busy, but right as the closing drivers arrived it slowed back down...so i wasn't there too long...i ate dinner w/ Paul and Rachelle then we dropped her off and picked up Brad and Jacques and went to Storage USA to move to the new space...which we finally did accomplish...woohoo...afterwards i went over to Justin's parents' house to hang out w/ him one last time before he moves away again...i know some won't, and some may be glad he'll be gone, but i'll miss him...i already do...
