ateolf: (me and Leala)
as i was leaving for work, my mom asked me to check the mail and there on the doorstep was a package for me...and sure enough it was my new pair of shoes...that was very fast...i didn't have enough time to string 'em before work so i just took 'em w/ me...afterwards i went over to David's where i put 'em on...they're maroon...and so wonderful...my last pair was just slightly too small but they fit well enough...but these are so much more comfortable, i never realized how less-than-comfortable my shoes were until i got this pair...not counting the whole New York foot-destruction...they were brand new then and i thought it was a case of being not broken-in...but enough about my damn shoes...we met Brad and Keith at the Map Room for some play thing...well, David and i got there much earlier and we walked around downtown for a little while...i had to leave the play like 15 min into it (if i was even there that long) to go back to work...and now i'm home...oh yea...and my mom settled on a name for the puppy...she had been against Sara for some reason and for a while decided on Sugar...but then she changed to Lacey, which is her name...which is kind've headachey 'cuz our pack of dogs now go by: Leala, Lizzy, and Lacey...but at least on its own Lacey is better than Sugar...

i forgot to mention in my last post that when i came back in to work after my split i forgot to change back into my Camy's shirt and went out on my first run wearing my Helloween shirt...although i was wearing my jacket so it wasn't too noticable, which i guess is why i didn't notice it at first (or my manager)...it wasn't until i got to the person's door...i changed when i got to my car...but it'd be cool if the Camy's uniform consisted of Helloween shirts...oh well...i went by Lastchance today and sold my X Live at the Whiskey... cd...i bought:
Neu!: '75
John Cale: Sun Blindness Music
the Neu! was actually used...i was buying it new then Ruth was all like we have that used if you want that and reached into a box behind the counter...i thought that was a pretty odd find...i had to do the suckiest thing ever at work today...i had to clean the bottom of the 3-door cooler...take everything off of the bottom and clean it...which is kind've sucky on its own but it became far suckier than i had first expected...there was this layer of congealed meat juice glued to the bottom and it was really difficult getting it off...ugh...now i'm up at the library...i brought in a cd from my car to listen to here...haha! w/ my headphone w/ the cord barely long enough to reach w/out bending my head over...oh well...i just have an excuse to be slouch-core...i'm here to do some research for my models of comp project...lets hope i can get some done...
