saturday i went to the Tree of Woe w/ Justin, Brad, and Ashley to see Miles from Somewhere as i kind've know the guy in it (Nick)...they played first and we missed them though...he gave me their demo cd thingie afterwards...there was this other band called Biddy Biddy Biddy...they weren't very good but they had the coolest bumper sticker EVER...it said, in big letters "I LIKE SCIENCE AND MATH" and then the band name in very small letters at the bottom...i got one and afterwards got a knife and cut out the band name and the top to make it even...it is now on my car...fucking rules...

oh yes...also, just for the record, i screwed up the title of that Mike Ladd cd i got the other day in my other post...it's actually called Easy Listening 4 Armageddon...and it's not nearly as good as the stuff he did when i saw him open for Anti-Pop Consortium...but this cd's from a few years ago...i guess i'll have to find his most recent thingie...

i saw Bringing Out the Dead or whatever it's called...that Scorsese movie...not very good at all...an upsetting prospect, but what can ya do? then we watched Bound...i was led on to believe that Jennifer Tilley's thingies made a special appearance...nope...no thingies at all...it's like, if i'm gonna be watching a crappy movie i at least want SOME redemption...

and it seems like there's prob'ly some other stuff i was maybe gonna say but i can't think of it so...yea...

oh yes...

friday night, David was supposed to meet me back at The Apartment...i sat around w/ Jacques and Amber but he didn't show up...then after two hours or so i got worried that his car had broken down or something like that so i drove down to where he works looking for signs of him/his car along the road...then i talked to him the next morning and he said he had gone to Tommy and Amy's...pish posh...

also, at that show i mentioned in my last post, one of the bands that played was River City High...my god they're fucking awful...so-cal punk meets cock rock...(not that it's very rare that they cross paths or anything...) the guitarist (wearing a cowboy hat) was all holding his Gibson SG over the crowd durring his solos...jumping around...doing the rocker poses...showoff bullshit bites my bollocks...

and i'll go ahead and mention that tonight David, Paul, and i went to Other Paul's and watched the MST3K movie...there was this über-hot chick there (and me being tired and horrible w/ names...ummm...it starts w/ a 'c'...yea...i'm stupid...) and some other guy...she has a boyfriend and it's not like it'd matter anyway 'cuz, you know, it's me we're talking about...but still...(read as two simultaneous statements: "chicks are pretty cool" and "i hate chicks"...)
