examination

the second calc exam was this morning...i think i did alright...(hopefully i can make up for the bad grade i got on the take-home portion...) i forgot about it yesterday morning/afternoon so i didn't get to studying 'til later last night...not good, but...oh well...there was one part i don't think i knew how to do right...i might've pulled it off but it's doubtable...but i answered both of the last problems (we only had to pick one but if we did both there'd be some extra credit...) but i'm also not sure if i did the second of them right so...oh well...i might've...i dunno...

also: yesterday i got an email from the university cocksuckers about my email being converted over the shitty "postoffice" browser-based shit...i have 'til March 8 to convert it over myself or it will be done automatically...bah...this is really fucking annoying...whoever had the stupid fucking idea of getting rid of all current mail servers and making everyone use a pice of shit that requires checking your email on a fucking webpage should be drawn and quartered...bah...

also: going to my class last night i ran into one of the girls that was in my english project last semester...and she said that she had talked to other ppl in the class who all said how great our presentation was and stuff...that's pretty cool...but it's hard to not do a good presentation w/ the subject we had (William S. Burroughs/Naked Lunch) and i think i'll mention it again for the record that i brough in a video and showed the part from the movie about the man who taught his asshole to talk and showed it to the class...that was cool...that's all...

and my sister has my car right now...that always makes me nervous...but she'll have to put gas in it...haha! she'd better get back when she's supposed to (something she NEVER does...)as i need to go to the bank...i was sort've wanting to do stuff but i guess i'm stuck here 'til then...

oh yes...and the news server still won't connect...i'm wondering if they just got rid of it like stupid fucking assholes as they're planning on doing w/ the not-so-current-anymore mail servers...i would have to kill...or something...

an overreaction

remember that big rant i was going on about w/ the mail server conversion? it turns out (as usual) that i'm a big idiot...something that they didn't specify in the emails they sent me is that you don't HAVE to do your mail crap from a webpage w/ the new server...it's just an option now...but they way there were talking about in the emails sounded contrary to that...oh well...so yea i did that and all is good...or something...(on top of the 15mb i now get, as opposed to the 5mb i was previously alotted...) not that i've ever needed even the 5mb or anything...but it's there...or something...

also i found that the news server is now news.memphis.edu instead of nntp.memphis.edu so it's still there...i think they both worked previously but i had been going to the nntp one...so now i'm getting my alt.music.sonic-youth fix again...and i was finally able to do my post about lodging/stuff to do in NYC...hopefully i'll get some help from thura...

blah...

i've just been sitting here all night/day...i actually almost started to clean my room but getting up and walking around made me start coughing a bunch (sitting down/being motionless i don't cough much at all...) and at the worst of it i came pretty close to vomiting...blah...so i soon quit that attempt and have been sitting here...bored...i guess that's all i feel like posting for the moment...
