[yawn]

i got very little sleep last night...i wasn't able to force myself to get started on my homework 'til at least 11:30 or so...i finally and gradually did it and got to sleep around 3somethingish or so...i went to school...nothing noteworthy happened there...the closest thing to being so was the fact that i dropped my sister off at her work on the way to school...i got home from school and went to the bank where i deposited my last two paychecks...(i'm SUPPOSED to be on direct deposit but for some reason my last three paychecks have been sent to my via mail...i should talk to those Adecco bastards soon...maybe they're fucking w/ me 'cuz they don't like how few hours i work...or maybe it's just some stupid mistake...the latter of which i hope, as i would like to keep this job at least until i have a real job to put in its place...it sucks how little money i make here, but at least it's *some* money...) ummm...i watched the Simpsons (no, i'm not predictable...) then i took like a two hour nap that i've just come out of a short while ago...i'm less tired at least...i'll need that since i have to do this damned homework for my algorithms class...yes, that's pretty much it for now...

a tribute to the greatest band ever (yes, Sonic Youth)

it's been going on for a while that my band (con señor Jacques and whoever else we can get...it's a sad situation...) is going to be on a Sonic Youth tribute album put together by one of the major playas on the newsgroup...he's got a page up for the tribute album and all the information on it...in case anyone might have some interest in it...our band's called The Family Ghost...we're covering "I Don't Want to Push It"...you can even see us mentioned on the "who's on it?" or whatever section (now don't i feel special...) as you may know from my journal, we've been having problems getting it actually recorded...but once we do, our cover's gonna be quite rad...i see it going in a very good direction...(if we could only get a means [person] of holding down the bass line...) ummm...yea...
