Mary Beth and I started the day by going to the Dixon pretty early for their flower art show thing where people make these flower arrangements to go with the artwork in the museum and there's a competition. There's also a flower show. We'd just a few days ago learned from our neighbor Gabe that he now works at the Dixon and sure enough he was the one handing out stickers to cars as they drive in. The main exhibit is of this local artist Mary Sims and a lot of her work was very good. We plan on returning to it when it's less crowded and doesn't have all the extra flower arrangements surrounding everything. Came back home to a cd awaiting me in the mail: Slow Blink: Fathom. At night we went up to the University to see this little operetta. It's a new and it's called The Song of the Nightingale. I didn't think it was good. I thought the music was kind of dull (especially in the vocal parts) and leaning towards musical. And the story was weak. Anyway, okay that's about all I've got.
