as of today, David and i have our plane tickets for l.a. in like just over two weeks reserved (i.e. All Tomorrow's Parties...) and we also have ho(s)tel reservations...hoorah...

so there's two new cities i can say i've been to...at least for an hour in the airport...but i'll be sure to stomp as many ballz as possible in Dallas/Fort Worth and Seattle...(and of course LA but that goes w/out saying...)

anyway...the other day i bought a 456 cd holding tower...tonight i went to put it together and it's missing stuff...the bastards at Target are gonna have hell to pay...

Err. Look at the times. I think STL is St. Louis.

But you get one new city. That's pretty cool. (although LA kind've sucks, but I didn't see enough of it to give a decent opinion.)

yea, that makes a lot more sense...i was excited about seeing a different city...wait, a different city's airport...i've seen LA's airport...i think i spent one run of like 6 or 8 hrs there some years ago...but damn, i guess i was just caught up on the coolness of being in Seattle...ah well...my homage to Kurt Cobain shall come another day...

Hey, Kurt Cobain might have lit the torch, man, but Eddie Vedder yanked it from his hands as he was dropping it, man. For that reason alone Eddie Vedder deserves all of the acclaim. If it wasn't for him the Seattle sound wouldn't have evolved to the heights it has reached today. You wouldn't get to hear Creed, or Three Doors Down, or Puddle of Mudd, or Linkin Park, or That Frog Voiced Asshole, or Crusty Guy Singer Backed By Two Guitars, or Pretty Gravel Throated Record Label Stooge and the Fly By Nights.

hey, have you heard sebadoh's cover of palace's 'riding'? good stuff. according to loobiecore.com, he's supposed to have a new solo album and an fi album out any day now, but i guess i shouldn't hold my breath. the first folk imposion album without john davis is bound to be something different sounding though.

i haven't heard that one...what album's it on? though i'm not a huge Palace fan...and i've yet to listen to any Folk Implosion...though i've come close to buying an ep a few times in the past...

it's one of three bbc session tracks included on the beauty of the ride single. a very haunting song. sebadoh does an awesome job with it. i got into palace through liking sebadoh cause jason had some formal connections with them.
