the attic incident

i woke up this afternoon from my mom yelling at the dogs to get out of the attic...(well, after my alarm waking me up briefly and me setting it back several times...i almost couldn't stop sleeping today...) after this had been going on a while, i finally got up to help...i couldn't sleep though it anymore anyway...so i went to the front door and rang the doorbell repeatedly...this got Lizzie running out, but Leala still wouldn't leave...oh, i should mention that there's squirrels or something living up there...the little terriers feel its their duty to go chasing/hunting them...but Lacey never went in, she's too scared...i went back up to get Leala...she was way back in a corner down in the fiberglass trying to get at the hiding animals which would never come out to a loud dog attacking them...i reached back and was able to grab onto her collar and pull her back...but just as i got her she ran away towards the other side of the attick, back into its farthest corner...and the other side is packed w/ more boxes so it's not immediately accessible to us humans...here i said fuck it and turned the light off and left, hoping she'd get scared and change her mind and want to leave...she didn't...she was still in the corner after the animals when i returned...i heard a weird noise, which i thought was either one of the squirrels or whatever doing stuff, Leala digging after it, or Leala being stuck and struggling to get out...i moved some boxes around to where i could just reach back there...it was Leala digging...once again i managed to reach and grab her collar...she was very relucant to come out, but i pulled her...i think her stomach's coated in fiberglass now...i marched her straight to the little doggie cage...a very bad dog...

another note...one week from now i'll be in New York City again...

it's so true. according to the king diamond lj community, he's about to unleash "abigail 2" on the populace. maybe he'll tour and come back here!!! what i wouldn't give to be in the same room as kd again...
