Very happy to hear the final results of Georgia's complete senate flip. Other than that the news was goddamn insane yesterday (Trump worshipers taking over the Capitol, should any future context be needed). I was taking a little drive last night and accidentally ended up in West Memphis (I ended up on channel 3 drive or whatever from the opposite direction and thought I was somewhere else when I stumbled onto that exit that takes you right to the bridge, oh well, I made it back). The other news that I forgot to mention yesterday, the monumentously important news, is that I started into the second fruitcake for this year. This is the one that was my favorite last year, from the monks in Missouri. It's delicious! That's all.

Also, I was watching cspan as they finally got the tally in: 3:30am.

Woah! I was checking online here and there and they maybe had like ten states or so when I went to bed.

It stalled at Pennsylvania until about 1:45am our time. Everything else was smooth except there was an objection to Wisconsin with that same tired “definitely fraud!” Line that had the (I don’t know the term here) person who originally seconded it withdraw so it was tenuous for like a second. States R-Y took about 10 minutes.
