Had a short workday yesterday, only half the day and pretty laid back anyway. Mary Beth and I did our little Christmas thing. I got a root beer making kit (this time I'm actually going to do it! I know I got one years ago and I think it was when I was teaching and by the time I'd got around to thinking about doing it...it had been a long time!). I also got a Virginia Woolf shirt, which is good timing considering how I've been so into her work lately! I did (or at least half-ass started) a cover for Mary Beth. This time it was "In the Air Tonight" though I didn't get much of it yet, just the drum machine (which I did on the modular) and the synth chords (on the Prophet 08). And didn't even spend much time on that as I did everything a little earlier in the day from when I "gave" it to her. I would have spent more time/started earlier but I'd been so busy trying to study for that damn certification. One day I'll wrap up all these damn covers. What I've got on this one sounds pretty good so far though! We'd ordered some deli supplies from Zingerman's for the holiday and had some pretty sweet deli sandwiches. In the evening Mary Beth and I cuddled up together with a watching of All that Heaven Allows. Then at night we played this new game we'd gotten called Too Many Cinderellas. It's a quick and fun little card game. There you have it and now it's Christmas day, okay.
