Voted!

Yesterday felt pretty action-packed (in my relative terms). We did our small grocery run during my lunch break. Then after work we went and voted! Yesterday was the first day of early voting in Tennessee and we just wanted to get it the fuck over with! The whole thing ended up taking just under an hour. I don't think I'd been in a line like that since the first time I voted (back in 96 and on election day). It wrapped out from the parking lot onto the sidewalk down Poplar. But we got it done and that feels like a relief. Thought I'd feel more tired today 'cuz I woke up for a couple hours in the wee early morning due to a stomach pain! I probably got a little sleep after that but not much before I had to wake up. Our merit increases finally came through today (they got pushed back when covid first hit). Mine isn't big (it was originally coming right after I'd gotten a bigger raise from my promotion anyway), but a little more money is still a good thing!
