Gathering

I had a bit of an involved day yesterday. I got my new arcade button module installed in my case. It works, you push a button. I got an order of cds in the mail: Henry Cow: Ex Box: Collected Fraagments 1971-1978, Henry Cow: A Cow Cabinet of Curiosities, Sun Ra: Media Dreams, Allen Ravenstine: Waiting for the Bomb, Charles Hayward: Near+Far, and The Necks: Hanging Gardens. (The two Henry Cow discs are each bonus versions of the new and old, respectively, versions of the box set. I have the old version of the box without the bonus disc so I was happy when the new version came out I discovered I could order both separately.) In the evening Mary Beth and I went over to social distance hang out with Josh and Molly. We ordered and picked up some Five Guys. They have their quarantine system down very well. Able to request curbside and you just park and call and they bring it to your car. It went much more smoothly than last week. Then over to Josh and Molly's to hang out in their backyard, keeping an approximate number of feet apart. Hopefully we stayed socially distant enough. It's the first time we've done something like that (I guess with our neighbors it was something like that but the opposite sides of the porch offered much clearer delineation). Josh and I played some ping pong. We generally talked and hung out while trying to keep a bit apart. Anyway, onto the rest of the weekend.
