In the Corner

So I decided to back myself into a corner yesterday by announcing that I'd do a low-key live-streaming concert on facebook today in the afternoon. So I spent some time getting that ready. Still not ready but I've got some more hours. A good bit of it is ready so hopefully it won't be a disaster. I mean, I'm sure it'll be fine but I'm hoping I can get it to a spot where it won't get too boring after a few minutes. Speaking of live-streaming concerts, youtube put Friday's show back up (you know, the part that existed before they completely killed it) after I contested it. Doesn't take back their ruining the show, but at least what was broadcast is there again, for whatever that's worth. Anyway, other than that Mary Beth and I watched Smithereens last night and it was good. Lots of parallels between that and Downtown 81 (the scenery of Manhattan in early 80s, the punk scene, being kicked out of apartments and constantly hustling to find a place to crash). Anyway, I should get back to preparing for this show that's in a little over five hours...
