Sing, Sing

Did a good bit of work on the Stevie Wonder cover last night. I recorded vocals for the remaining section and then I did a lot of mixing and such things. Then, I decided I hated the vocals I'd recorded that night. I eventually redid them and they were much better but something still felt lacking. But doubling the two inferior vocal tracks made something fuller and better so I think I'm sticking with that. The song's getting pretty close to being done. Work today was pretty fine. I came home to some Criterion blu-rays in the mail from the sale: Teorema; One Sings, the Other Doesn't; and Until the End of the World (Pasolini, Varda, and Wenders). Speaking of Criterion, I forgot to mention that on Sunday Mary Beth and I watched La Jetée while scarfing nachos. I hadn't watched it in a very long time. Such good stuff!
