forgot to mention yesterday that friday, before work, i went to get my oil changed and while there i got $117 of stuff done to my car...namely the oil change, of course, oil treatment crap, a new air filter, and transmission fluid/"service"...but i know my car needed it as it had been driving really shittily as of late...and w/ the transmission being messed up and all...it's doing better now...and even the transmission seems to be not messing up as badly, but it hasn't been long...but whatever...
yesterday Brad and i went to Wherehouse and i got Unsane: Occupational Hazard...my über-ballstomp quota for the month has been met...
now all of the puppies except for the one we're keeping are gone...there had been one of the boys left for a while, but no more now...i'm missing them a lot now...i feel like i didn't see them enough while they were here...but now i need to think of a name for the girl...
tonight i attempted taking apart my mixer some...and i attempted putting together these switches that were messed up...but they're poorly designed for the task of putting them back together...i broke the wires off one so i think i'm just going to get a new switch...i had also dropped its tiny tiny spring...i was going to just replace that but then i realized that, having already broken the wires and needing to do the bastardly task of soldering anyway, i could just replace the whole damned thing...not sure if i'm gonna try that w/ the other switch or not...which sucks more? putting it back together or soldering? (i'd go into the details of why the seemingly simple task of snapping the halves of these switches back together is so difficult, but it would just be [even more] boring and prob'ly wouldn't make much sense w/out actually seeing it anyway...so i'll leave you w/ some suspension of disbelief...) but i have a theory that if these switches are functioning properly then my original idea for how the mixer should hook up to the recorder might work...don't ask why, but it's at least worth a shot...

no subject
I think I've already told you a ton of times that I miss you and stuff, and enjoy reading about all these little mishaps you endure...
Yeah, I think that's everything.
Oh, and I hope you're still writing...
