Got a little caught back up on sleep so felt pretty refreshed today. Then I kinda had a breakthrough on that issue that'd been bugging the shit out of me. Finding out how to properly redirect bindings of dependencies from whatever stupid version that it's wanting to the actual version we're referencing. And a big of finagling and some back and forth and I've got it working and then finally working on the remote server too... Mostly. But then I find out when I do a post it's returning an error. It's while it's trying to publish to the data stream. So this is after it's successfully persisted in the database and we get a response object back and all is fine and good. The only issue is there's an error that comes back too (and since the whole reason we're here in the first place is because we updated the model package that's jacking shit up with the versioning and we updated that package to get an enhanced publisher (someone added retry logic in case it fails)...so kinda at the point where it's defeating the whole purpose). Well, the thing that's failing is with netstandard and so far I'm not successfully able to redirect the binding on THAT. Well, that was a lot of damn bullshit nonsense. I'll stop that now! My dad wanted to meet up for lunch so I did and we met at Sear Shack. It's the first time I've had it. People have talked it up for a while. It's good, they have good quality (though they make their patties a little spread out and thin and it's not as good as other burgers, even Five Guys). The shake was pretty tasty (Sterling said I HAD to get one of those). Anyway, back at hoe to a couple of packages. I got a Pittsburgh Analog Replicator (so now I have some delay in my eurorack!). Before I got the last module I got I was all, I'm DONE for a while. Then before I got this one I was like now I'm REALLY DONE for a while (but then this thing came up for like almost half retail price and I'd been wanting one and eurorack stuff, even used, rarely gets that cheap so here we are...). I also got a cd: Giacinto Scelsi: The Piano Works 2. Now it's the weekend and I'm done with damn programming for a bit! (I say programming, the shit I've been spinning my wheels on isn't even programming, that's the bitch of it. I probably sound really stressed and I was feeling it the other day, but right now I'm actually not and feel pretty good and am just laughing at it all. The sleep makes a nice difference there.)
