the past few days

lessee...big wacky misadventure searching for cables to hook my recorder to my mixer...various reasons led me to Radio Shack four times...twice getting something, twice taking that something back...and i went to Consignment...got some cables...they wouldn't work for reasons that would be boring to mention (not that that usually stops me or anything...) took them back yesterday...though 10% of their original cost less...fuckers...

the other night i went to meet Paul Pt. 2 at Neil's for karaoke...i sat there for a half hour and he didn't show up...it really sucked...then i hung out w/ Justin and watched The Mack...then i went over to Keith's...him and Chris, his roomate, and some chick he knows were having a cd listening party thingie...i was up far far later than i realized and ended up crashing on his floor/couch...oh yeah...earlier that day i mowed the front yard...still haven't gotten to the back as rain has gotten in my way...not that it hurts my feelings too badly..

hung out w/ Keith again last night...pretty much the same...we ended up watching a really terrible movie called Drunks...we had started watching the Clerks cartoons (not my idea, mind you!) but it was too terrible to stick w/ it for more than 10 min...

today, after my very brief stint at work, i hung out w/ this Justin...his birthday was yesterday but he went to sleep instead of kicking it so i kicked it w/ him tonight...i had gotten him Franz Kafka's The Trial (and whilst at the bookstore, i got Charles Bukowski's Hollywood for me...whenever i might get around to reading it...) he also borrowed me William Gibson's Mona Lisa Overdrive and i'm sure i'll eventurally get to reading that at some point in time...we watched three episodes of The Family Guy...ahhh...

not much else to report i don't guess...

sounds like some foul shit goin' down...i must go investigate this before giving my full report...though i don't think i'm liking the sound of this...(haven't checked on it in a few days...i've been slacking lately, true...but i've been spending less time on the internet as well...perhaps trying to pretend like i'm not pathetic...who knows...)

Hey, I was there! If you look at my journal, you will see the full disclocure of my goings-on that night. For the record, it is safest to add 15-30 minutes to any projected time that I'm to be anywhere. I am punctually impaired to a fault and will never, EVER be where I'm supposed to WHEN I'm supposed to be there. Hopefully, my friends will forgive this incredibly dickish quality of an otherwise sweetheart of a guy. If you're on for Monday, I will DEFINITELY be there . . . just don't watch the clock.

yea...i figured...that's why i got there 15 after...but after sitting at Neil's for 30 min by myself i couldn't wait any longer...30 min alone at Neil's does terrible things to a man...or something...but i'm on for monday...i'll be working but i should be able to fit it in while i'm off and such...
