i just talked to my dad on the phone...he's in Mexico City on business...he told me how he got there and there was this huge crowd and he was wondering what was going on...he asked someone and they told him that there was a HELLOWEEN concert...they're on a world tour or something...he asked me if i had heard of such a thing...i almost exploded laughing...they needta fuckin' come here...stomp our ballz...he says the people were lined up all wearing all black...that's just funny...i can't believe ppl still like them...Mexicans seem to be a lot cooler than us...they'd prob'ly only get like 15 ppl at a states show...but those would be 15 lucky dudes...

If they should come through Pittsburgh I suspect Alan and I will be there to bask in the glory of masturbatory power metal. I'm still kind of miffed that we both neglected to see Yngwie Fuckin' Malmsteen when he and Rising Force came through.

And I'm realizing that yes, in fact, Iron Maiden is better than I remember.

I saw Helloween live on MTV for Headbangers Ball, Halloween '88. They were playing with Grim Reaper. Some other band played too but I don't think we saw them. They were no Iron Maiden . . . .
p.s. sorry I missed you at Neil's last night. Got there around 10:30pm but didn't see you there. Maybe Mon. at Reedmeisters if you're up for it. Lemme know

i was at Neil's from like 10:15-10:45...it was pretty sucky...but i ended up at Justin's and watched The Mack...and i should be up for it on monday if i'm not working...which i prob'ly am, but maybe durring my "break"...and chances are, it being a monday, i wouldn't end up going back at midnight anyhow...
