events of today

today: went to classes carrying my books in my SYR record bag...it was blah...my first two classes are in Dunn which is close to the north parking lot where i park...but then my english class is in Patterson, which is on the very south side of campus...so i have to walk across campus...which i don't mind...but today i had to buy books (again), and i only had a handheld bag and not my backpack (thank you, jeep) and i didn't wanna leave the bag lying around in the front of the store (for obvious reasons) i had to walk all the way across campus and put my books back in the car...then walk to the book store (which is in the u.c., midcampus abouts...) it wasn't too bad 'cuz i enjoy walking, but it was EXTREMELY fucking hot here today...106 f...they didn't have any more of the books for my Spanish class...so after i rebought my Algorithms book i went back to my car and drove over to Tiger Books (the non-university affiliated book store next to campus) and they had the Spanish book, used too...(which is pretty rare 'cuz its a workbook type of book where you're supposed to write in it...i'm seriously guessing that it was the very same book i originally had...) after that i went to Consignment and put the last payment on the machine-gun shaped guitar that i had there on layaway ($152 today...) so it's now mine...i broke a string playing w/ the tuning...i knew i was aboutta do it, but i pressed on for the note i was going for anyhow...oh well, i'll prob'ly end up needing different gauge strings for it anyways...i then proceeded to Lastchance where i sold the Polara cd that i bought for $2 for $3...$1 profit, yay...they didn't have any MBV or GYBE so i went to Shangri-La where i bought GYBE's F# A# (Infinity) cd...then, in my quest for some MBV, i stopped by 2 used cd stores on the way home...CD Connection (as i would've guessed) didn't have it, but CD Warehouse did...yay! so holding out was a good idea...(although the reason was, months earlier i almost got it at Borders for $11, but Jacques dissuaded me telling me that i could get it anywhere used...which didn't work-out until today...but it eventually worked-out...) then i went home and watched the Simpsons...after that went to buy a new backpack, new shoes, and a new copy of 2010: Odyssey Two at various stores...Target, the first i went to, just had a bunch of crap for backpacks...so i proceeded to Just for Feet where i got new red Converse (the color selection was very lacking this time...), then Barnes & Noble where i got my book, and then Wal-Mart where i got a reasonably decent backpack that's not all leather-crap or pseudo-hip looking, or clear, or have stupid cartoon crap on 'em...though for a split-second a Winnie the Pooh backpack almost tempted me...then i went to the grocery store and got some milk...now i'm here doing this crap and i soon should get to my h.w...."that's all she wrote" as a wise man (or someone else) once said...
