the past few days have been really fucked up...i guess i'll start from the beginning or whatever...and i'll prob'ly do it in two different posts...wed night my grandmother died...she had been in the hospital again...i visited her a few times...she wasn't doing very well tuesday, but my mom said she had been doing better wednesday...but later in the evening there was a call from the hospital...my parents went over and i went to get my sister...it was very weird 'cuz both shortly after leaving my house and after leaving my sister's i was behind ambulances...if my life was a novel or something i guess there'd be some symbolism going on or whatever...later i was talking to my mom...i mentioned trying to find somewhere else to practice before the show (other than our house) but my mom said we should practice there...

so we practiced before the show yesterday...as we were on our last song, running through our set, my dad came up and said there were tornado watches and we'd better go downstairs...and it was all just about to storm and all...more "symbolism" so it might seem...we went to eat at Huey's in Collierville...and then went back to load the gear...but then more "fun" stuff started happening...Jacques' seat decided to break as he was leaving my driveway and it was all fucked up where he couldn't drive...so after trying for a long time to fix it to no avail, we managed to keep it propped up w/ two amps and a bunch of blankets...but it worked and we made it to the Map Room on time...show details continued in next post...
