yesterday my Wire: Behind the Curtain cd arrived in the mail...then later i was hanging out w/ Brad and Justin...Brad and i decided to go to Wherehouse...Justin learned from his mistake last time he went cd shopping w/ us so he stayed in for that...i got Jim O'Rourke: Terminal Pharmacy, Neu!: 2, and Deus: In a Bar, under the Sea...the Neu cd was ummm...new, but there was a sale for 20% off everything in the "dance" section...so it ended up costing about as much as it would at a decent record store...i'm not sure what to think of the Deus quite yet...and today Jacques and i went by CD Warehouse to put up a flier there, even though no decent folk would see it...but while there i got the 2001: a Space Odyssey soundtrack...

in other news: my ring modulator had decided to stop working right...the filter switch was all messed up and wobbling around and when the pedal was on, the ring modulation wouldn't happen...like, unless the knob was turned over to just the regular guitar tone, no sound would happen at all...so i took it apart...the thing that connects to the switch was all disconnected...so i got it all together again...it turns out it had never been on quite right...i was loose when i got it and kept getting looser until it completely came off...i thought the switched moved a little funny when i got it, but the pedal worked and all so i didn't think too much of it...but now it moves like switches normally do and the pedal sounds better than it ever did...and that, my friends, is rökken...

hrm...i always thought it was "new"...one of my friends was saying "noy" once but he didn't know either and went along w/ me and my other friend who pronounced it wrong too i guess...but i ain't no dingamadang kraut so i just read it like a dingamadang red-blooded american would! RAW POWER! ummm...yea...
