ateolfrock was successful today...we ran through our set as it is twice...it's all quite together, although "Uncurable" needs a little bit of work...i guess we'll focus on that next practice...the other day i came up w/ a title for one of Jacques' songs, "A Better Way of Failing"...i think i'm also gonna use that phrase in a song of mine at some point in the future...(posession of songs merely denotes who sings...)
stuff i've forgotten to mention:
last week, Brad, Keith, and i went to the roof of Keith's new apartment building...there's like 9 stories...it was pretty rad...
laast night we went to the Map Room to put our fliers up and we talked to the guy from The Great Depression that works there...he told us that the band we're opening for is in fact not a Korn rip-off rap metal band...that band's from AR, the one we're playing w/ is from MI...this band's more along the lines of indie rock and whatnot...it'll be less funny, but i guess that's good...oh, the reason we got the bands mixed up is 'cuz they both have the same name...
Brad got this new kitten...it rökkz...
it seems like there was something else i had to say...maybe not...if so i'll just post it later like all this other crap i forgot to say other times...yea...
oh yea...we watched Saving Private Ryan the other night...fucking great...i don't get Spielberg...most everything he's done is either utter crap or at lest moderately crappy...but his few good movies are just fucking amazing...it's like he has talent, he just likes being crappy most of the time...yea...and tonight we watched some film about the Sex Pistols...i can't fucking remember the name now...something like Filthy and Somethingsomething...i don't remember...but it was quite good...i wish Johnny Rotten was still making good music...'cuz he's still pretty damn cool...his music's just been pretty crappy since like PiL's 4th album or so...oh well...i guess i'll be done now...oi
