ateolf | the day the rock died

rock was supposed to have happened yesterday...but Jacques wasn't around...apparently he went to his stupid girlfriend's stupid uncle's stupid wedding even though he said he wasn't going to...i had met up w/ Brad at his house...we tried getting in touch w/ Jacques to no avail...it hadn't hit me where he was yet so we went to Consignment so i could buy some cables and picks to kill some time thinking he'd be back by the time we were done...but we went to The Apartment and still no big death bubble (Amber's car...it has a big bubble-like travelling case thing on the top that never comes off...) then i realized what was going on...so i left a note on the door saying "Jacques, if you went to that stupid, fucking, bullshit, redneck-uncle wedding then you're out of the band. love, Robert" of course we're not kicking him out of the band...it's just a joke, see...but i thought i might piss him off a little and especially hopefully Amber as well...as his ditching out on practice pissed us off a good bit...then we went back to Brad's...Justin came over...we sat around a while...then we left to go do stuff...stuff ended up being going to the other Wherehouse, the one near the Mall of Memphis...Justin says we were there for 2 hrs...maybe he's right...after a while he got bored by Brad and i's being cool and spending forever looking at used cds so he walked over to Toys R Us...we're cool...i got:

then we ate at the SUPER chinese death buffet place a block away...back to Brad's...sitting around...bunches of ppl started showing up...Justin was wanting to go downtown but no one else did...he had made plans w/ David to, he eventually left and went over to The Apartment to go downtown w/ David and stuff...Keith was amongst the showing-upers...i think a small party of sorts might've ended up happening...'cuz a fair amount of ppl showed up...other stuff: i tried the new Pepsi Twist (the lemon flavored Pepsi stuff)...dear god it fucking rules...i don't really even like Pepsi very much...but this drink stomps the hell out of my ballz...also i had decided how i'm gonna sing the new 30 min SY-ripoff song...i debuted my vocal stylings to Brad and Keith to see what they thought and they both thought it ruled...it's kind've like a cross between Mark Mothersbaugh and Gary Numan (kind've sounds like the guy from the Buggles...) it kept getting stuck in my head...even though it's never been sung w/ the actual song yet...after i sang it to Brad it was getting stuck in his head too...i guess that's pretty cool...we're supposed to rock monday (for a bit between my school and work) as well as tuesday and thursday...hopefully that'll actually come into fruitation...now i'd better get finished w/ my damned homework...
