hey, Paul, hope you don't mind me using yr computer...i have to do something w/ these 5 hrs...i guess most've 'em'll be studying...ach...(for everyone's information, i'm in the middle of my shift split...Paul borrowed me his keys so i could chill hura whilst i have nothing else to do...i got off early at 7 and i go back in at 12...)

i barely woke up in time for class (well, i guess i didn't as i was 5 min late...) i didn't get to sleep 'til late so i set my alarm so i'd just have time enough to get ready in a real hurry, just hitting the basics and go to class...but i kept sleeping for 25 min as my alarm was going off...that's very rare for me...if anything i'll get up, turn it off, and fall back asleep, sometimes w/out being conscious of it all (though i keep the alarm positioined awkwardly so i'll haveta get up and walk across the room to turn it off...at least that helps...) but i guess sleeping longer is better than not having any more alarm happening...but i went to class and stuff...

afterwards i took my 2 most recent guitars (though one of 'em is months old...) to Consignment to get the tuning pegs fixed...the one i got yesterday had one of 'em break off (before i even bought it in the store...i'll recap the story: it was bent, i tried to unbend it, it broke) and on the other one, two of 'em just eventually fell out...but all the others on the guitars're kind've screwy anyhow...i found out that the one that i thought was a Harmony is actually a Silvertone...it doesn't have a name written on it, but the tag said Harmony when i bought it...but there was this guitar up there, either being fixed or just sitting there that was exactly identical...and it said Silvertone on the headstock...and it was w/ my bass (which is a Silvertone)...so that's cool...i like Silvertones...now i need one of the reallyreallyreally cool ones w/ the supercool headstocks...the ones that're usually black and white...the newer guitar'll be easy to replace the pegs on, but the Silvertone has a fucked-up spacing that used to be common but they don't do anymore...(it's from the 60s) so he said he'll prob'ly have to replace the pegs individually...hopefully that won't make it too expensiver...also i think i've decided i'm gonna get the double neck Danelectro...it's only $500...it has a 12 string and a 6 string...i know what you'll say about double necks...but i don't care...that's part of the reason i want it! and Danelectros just fucking rule...and it's quite a reasonable price...and there's so much coolness that i can do w/ that...

went home and fixed my Big Muff...when it arrived one of the wires that connects the 9V battery's terminals had broken off the terminal thingie so i had to solder it back on...a simple task but for me, one that took an insanely long time...as well as insanely sloppy...oh well it works now...i dunno, it's a pretty small and awkward soldering job...so now i have the ultimate pedal setup...guitar->Frequency Analyzer (ring mod)->Big Muff->Vox wah->amp...yea...noise! and the Frequency Analyzier is the coolest thing ever...just thought i'd share...

and before i went to work i took Justin to get his jeep back from the place that was fixing some stuff...

then i went to work for 2 hrs...there's this new girl there...Kim...i think she's like indie or something...she said i look familiar...i guess that's pretty cool...yea...that's all...(i'm pathetic...)

i almost forgot to mention my little wacky adventure last night! it was my last delivery...to this apartment buiding downtown...i go up there and this kid answers and he hands me a $50...(the order's like $12something...) so i give him back $30 and i'm getting the ones...he says something like "a few dollars" and then i asked him how much he wants back and he said "a couple of dollars" so i give him $2 and ask if that's okay...he hands them back and says "tip"...also, as an incidental note, maybe it explains further stuff, maybe not, the door was blown shut by the wind durring this time...so i'm thinking, sweet tip, and go back down...i'm walking to my car and i hear some drunk person yelling but i ignore it as i tend to do...the parking lot is a one-way drive here that circles around the back of the building and the entrance/exit is in the front...so i circle around then when i get to the front the kid and his mom are there stopping me...the mom asks how much tip i got, like $7? and i was like yea...(the drunk guy's yelling even more) she tells me his father's drunk and wants some money back...i think (while they're talking to me and i'm giving their money back) he threw a bottle down (from the 6th floor), and he was definately yelling more...she said "this is what we have to live with"...i gave them five dollars back and continued along my way...i get back and Brent asks me what went on, 'cuz the guy called Camy's telling them their driver had taken advantage of their (9-yr old? i forget) son and they had to chase me down to get their $5 back or something...he told me he was just like "okay" and that the guy sounded drunk...so i told hiim the story and he was like yea that's what i would've done...it's somewhere balancing the line of sad and funny...like, yea, sir, take that $5 and buy yourself some more booze so you can have an excuse to beat your son...ah, ppl...
