I put my modular stuff together yesterday. I went out to buy more screws for the eurorack stuff. This time I got it right! (Last time I asked for "flat" thinking of the bottom of the screw not the top, so I got the ones with a flat top but tapered underneath. It kept my Polivoks filter plugged in, but it felt kinda tenuous. This time I looked through 'em myself and got it right.) First I went to Home Depot, because I thought there'd be a bigger selection and I might not make the same mistake as last time. They didn't even have the dimensions I needed in any type. So back to Stewart Brothers where I had my success. I also put my new VCO in my 5U case. I was a little disappointed by my new amplifier. I guess I had expected it to be a VCA, but there's no voltage control. Well, that explains why it was so damn cheap even used. Oh well, I can use all the modules I can get in my pathetic little setup. Anyway, I had a ton of fun playing with my shit last night. I just jerked around for hours. I especially had fun with the Double Deka. Bed late again. Blurgh. Anyway, I need to rush getting ready.
