Does It Feel like Summer Yet?

Yesterday afternoon/evening we went to a party thing at Matt and Genie's. After a while Paul and Josh showed up too. There were lots of dogs there. One dog couldn't stop humping Meg's dog. I had a good time. I actually enjoyed talking to Matt (we went to high school together, he was a year ahead of me, I really hated him at the time, of course I don't care much about how people were in high school now, but that's my fun history lesson). For some reason I woke up early this morning and couldn't fall back asleep (at the time). So I got up and finished reading The Manuscript Found in Saragossa by Jan Potocki. It was good. If you haven't heard of it, it's a stories-within-stories beast compared to One Thousand and One Nights and The Decameron. The best parts were the ones that had Velásquez, the Geometer. So then a little later I did fall back asleep for a bit of a nap and feel better. Good morning. Afternoon. Or something.
